I see is pin above the cut out.....& maybe another........so maybe it's pinned to the face plate and will not remove.......???
as, maybe it's not meant to be taken apart..???

What look like pins are screws...about to take them off ...I won't force anything.

Here's as far into it I can go without seeking professional help (which I need to do anyway :) )...

On the movement - again the SF - this time fully surrounded with a "house" or peaked sqaure shape.

And on the back of the backing/facing plate, a capital M and a hand engraved "647". Oh - AND a small "O" or 0 underneath the M.

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

nothing about this clock says anything about the quality of their other clocks . no die stamps , painted face with painted/engraved crooked words/numbers . unless this was an old/vintage prototype , imo it isn't made by them.

Hand set knobs usually pull off.

A chime is a number of simultaneous or consecutive different notes, as in a Westminster chime. This clock strikes.

Thank you - learning the proper terms still. It strikes the hour yes, and a single strike on the half hour.
