Of course I used only mild natural things (alcohol, distilled water, citric Acid, vinegar essence).It has some hairline cracks and small losses, but nothing serious. Could to this date be a 1/1 piece. The damage is pretty serious, the connection piece is missing, also a bronze knob and a guard. Very few of these were made and this is a highest quality one. If anyone finds a similar piece, please tell me<img src="styles/default/xenforo/smilies/smile.png" class="mceSmilie" alt=":)" unselectable="on" /></p><p>Fan collecting is all about condition, so this piece is not of any mentionable value. The craftsmanship and beauty of this piece is amazing, thats why I bought it. I plan to frame it.</p><p><br /></p><p>Sticks and guard are made of tortoise shell. The leaf is probably silk-based.</p><p><br /></p><p>The chinoiserie-inspired decoration is beautifully made in different gold/silver tones.
