    Compare the plate signature with that of artist Jules Breton. Very similar

    You are right. Searching Haviland Berton on worthpoint got a lot more results of hand painted floral plates. Now if we could just see the front of Freddy's plate.... Oh, the pictures have appeared. Yes, not Berton, sorry.

    Look up works by Jules Breton and tell me his signature doesn't bear a striking resemblance to the signature on my plate.
