Found the listing on eBay. Description was well done. The only addition to the description you might have added was the maker might possibly be Britton, Gould & Co. of Birmingham. Hope you have many bidders! For those looking for the listing, its number is 322457907105 and the title is:

I've also got some buttons that came with this chatelaine and I can't help but wonder what to do with them.

 

Oooooooooooo! Sparklies! I know there is a market for those types of buttons and I am sure the Sew & Sewers will be along shortly - this will bump you up to the top, but if you don't get responses start a new thread.

Yeah mate good advice. I was thinking people must still want this kind of stuff.

 

You may be surprised at the things people "want"....and better yet what they will PAY for................so its better to ask before binning

 

If you do get that price, for heaven's sake send it Special Delivery. Not Recorded!

 

I'm very confident i will sell it and yes I will tell royal mail to make it a special delivery.
