He pointed out in the video what he saw wrong with the online item and that the one online was only listed as “Chinese Celadon Ice Crackle Glazed Ceramic” not antique. My piece was listed “Fine Chinese Longquan Celadon Ceramic”. Which to me gives the auctionhouse a bit more responsibility(a bit). He stated the obvious as was also mentioned by [USER=10944]@J Dagger[/USER], that the odds of an auction house like Sotheby’s having two of these come up for sale within a couple of years was “zero”. Additionally the online item had two auction house fake stickers of which one of the houses didn’t exist. Although There is a sticker on mine it does not claim such. These three reasons seemed to be his valuation focal point. We already knew this.</p><p><br /></p><p>His only mention about my actual bowl was that it was handmade and attractive. Yeah</p><p><br /></p><p>I guess while I have to respect his knowledge(and I do) I would have prefer he talked about my submission item and what is good or bad about its features, rather then go to another item for sale and point out what he liked or didn’t like about that piece(which is not what I paid for).
