(Oh goodness! haha I can imagine the hard work! I had forgotten how much work ONE pup makes JudeLuna.jpg ... thought of two makes me go crosseyed!)

So sorry to hear about your Kyra, though. I think subconsciously, I was dreading losing my baby, as the last two years of her life she did get to be really old-looking. ( Though I didn't really notice as she was my baby, others did mention that she had got really infirm looking. )

She was a lurcher too like my Luna and SO full of life until then.
She lost one of her legs 6 or so years ago and that didn't really slow her down much.
I still cannot think about her, I don't think I ever will be able to, without my chest crushing me inside. I know I don't have to describe that feeling to you or any animal lover. We've all been there. And I know we wouldn't swap the years of total love and devotion for the pain of their loss?

Anyway, my Emms was one in a million like all dogs/animals are to their Mummy/Daddy and so lucky she was MY baby.I was honoured x

Jude, my span, is starting to get used to Luna too. I have pictorial proof!

You're a Wonderful mother to your darling fur babies Boudicca, and we who have lost pets KNOW the heartache that you feel, my late cat .. also known as "Mummy's Darling Baby Boy" passed away several years ago and I still think of him often, but I'll always cherish the years I had with him and the love that he showed me. Your babies look so sweet .. I'm thinking that I'd like another pet .. :) .. Joy.

Loosing a furbaby is definitely hard :(. It took me a little over a year to get over loosing Sophie. I just adopted 2  a few weeks ago. Ones 14 and the other is 9. They were a bonded pair so of course I had to take both.
Glad you got another snuggler. Congrats. They look quite comfortable together:joyful:.

Joy...thank you for your kind words. I love cats too. We have five, all except one are rescues. Cats and dogs are SO different but all are great. They are all so different to each other too...my FatCat FiFi is MY cat and she's so human like. In a good way!

AJefferson...I don't think we ever really get over losing a much loved pet, though it does get easier to bear. I had a doggy when I was 8,he died a year to the day after we had him and still, I can't think of him without agony. So I try not to think about him which is easy now as was such a long (  ) time ago x x
That's amazing that you took two older pets on. LOVE the name Sophie btw. My daughter's middle name .
    I love people that love animals <3 x x
Jude is still very jealous. We've had him since he was three weeks old so he thinks ( knows) that I am his actual Mum. He'll get over it, he's been better than I hoped
I just think people that get animals, that enjoy them, have a different dimension to life than people that don't...my Mum is NOT an animal person, and neither is my OWN DAUGHTER :O :O
    I demand a recount :O
