Now that we are talking about him, here is his latest in June, a $4. thrift store mirror he repairs, 6 hours labor.

I have watched all of his videos.....................his is one of the 94 channels I now subscribe to...........................most of which are museums or restoration centered, a few topical discussions, and a couple of hobby related.

Went to his website to see how much he charges per hour, didn't say but guesses $50 per hour so that mirror above is now $304. Still a pretty good deal I'd say.

Johnson is quite the old school craftsman, I worked with a guy when I was a kid at a wholesale furniture importer. He was a Master furniture repairmen that could make amazing repairs on furniture damage on the way to the states from Europe. I wish I pay more attention, but No it was cars and girls.

    Just to update this.

Took me a little bit to fix this but I did it on my own with some advice from a few people I know.

What was wrong with it was just a bent bolt. Unfortunately the bolt was also completely stripped, but with patience and a steady hand on the dremel, I was able to cut the head so I could just pull the leg off. Replaced the bolt with a new one and cut a new wedge piece.

No damage and the fix ended being very solid and strong.

    Felt good :D
