Frustrations ...

I live in clouds spun of sugar, milk and whimsy. I have never ventured into the Ebay discussion board and wasn’t aware of the existence of one.

But a troll you say? Intriguing.

 

Not intriguing really.....but then again it's part of the reason so many are here on these boards instead of there so woohoo!

 

It’s interesting to me when I have run into trolls online. There is always an undercurrent of some odd behavior and personality traits who would lead an individual to be nasty to perfect strangers. I guess I lucked out coming here first!

 

Where lots of members here flocked to after the eBay boards became too toxic.

Is DSS still on the eBay forums ??? .. Joy.

 

In all honesty, the real issue wasn't the grand trollishness of DSS (and he was a troll's troll), but the complete assinity of the eBay board moderators.

Many people here, including me, were at least temporarily locked out of the eBay forums because of our responses to DSS. I think someone here (Davey?) may have even gotten banned.

But DSS was never moderated.

I cannot use the kind of language I would like when talking about DSS (because I don't want to get banned here, lol), but there are very few places where he would be allowed to do what he did there.

Trolls are only successful under weak administrations.

 

He was a real piece of work !! .. I was banned for life because of my opinion of him .. What a BULLY !! .. Joy.

 

I knew somebody got banned. I would have never remembered it was sweet sweet Joy.

 

I think a few people here were banned for life Jivvy, the infraction was minor .. no swearing, I guess he couldn't "take it" and I was banned, but I CAME HERE !! and never looked back ... Joy.

 

I understand your fury Davey but I'm sure glad that you stayed put .. you helped to get THIS GREAT PLACE UP AND RUNNING !!!! and you're appreciated more than you'll ever know .. Joy.

I think there was a lot of grumbling and teeth gnashing going on as refugees from those boards got here and seemed to take a little while to de-compress. Thank goodness for this place and our super mods!!!!!

I think it makes one rather wary of trolling

 

Some of the Ebay boards are out of control with trolls and bullies. It was worse than that with people trying to sabotage sellers with bad feedback. Don't miss it. So happy here, thank you Davey.

 

And never a suggestion to use Brasso!
