Found Knife

I have a "theater-made" style knife here myself. My grandfather found a blade by the side of the railroad tracks during the Depression. He made a new handle for it, and it's been in this house as a letter opener since about 1965. The blade is carbon steel, most likely, so it was probably old when he found it. Those guys who grew up during the Depression, or just grew up broke, knew how to repurpose things instead of buying something new off the shelf.
