    Just take it into Vuitton for a repair. You’ve got virtually nothing invested in it and it’s worth hundreds. Even if it were fake and they confiscate you’ve lost next to nothing and you’d want it off the market. The best authentication you can get is a repair receipt from them.

    There is or was a Louis Vuitton store in a local mall, come to that. Generally I can afford the air in there.
