My husband saw it later and immediately checked because he often works around naïve and contemporary arts. Water jug marked Sterling on the bottom, with a model number but no maker's mark. I'm not concerned about the maker, because it is very dented and only fit for scrap now, but IS it sterling?? If it is, I've never sold scrap before and have no clue what the best method is. The metal recyclers here do commercial metals from their page listings, and the other places that come up are coin and bullion dealers.
