I've set my sight's on three estate sales, all within 10 miles, between Friday and Saturday this weekend and the season isn't even started yet. Town wides are somewhere nearby every weekend. These are usually treasure troves if you know what to look for but you MUST have a fairly broad knowledge to take full advantage. It's still not unheard of to find genuine 200 year old stuff for virtual pennies. You can also shop flea/antiques markets every day of the week if you chose. There are a few legendary fleas among the cognoscenti within just a few miles of me. Columbus Farmers Mkt. (about 8 miles) and Lambertville Antiques market just to name two. Perkiomenville is just a little further but worth the ride now and then, about 70 miles. Incredible finds still pop out at Perkie on a regular basis. And of course Denver Pa. is 80 miles out the Pa. turnpike. With Renningers, Black Angus, Shupp's Grove and others this is the center of the Antiquing universe on any given weekend. Nearly the same with auctions though they have dwindled to a considerable degree as of late.[/QUOTE]
