I have to fast before most blood tests, have them at least quarterly. I use Labcorp here, doctors really aren't great at blood draws. I also have a thyroid nodule, have it biopsied every two years. Sister has Hashimotos. I do have excellent insurance, BCBS Horizon Direct 15, but the cost just went up and it's about 10% of my gross pay a year. I cover hubby and me. Pension payments are about 8% of my gross pay, and I also have to carry AFLAC disability insurance. I think it will be cheaper to retire than work....I have to at least go to July 1, 2023, to get 25 years in for full pension and reduced medical. Might be October 1, 2023....waiting on a pension audit I requested in July 2021-that's how backed up they are. I will be 66 June 30, and will wait to collect full social security on January 1, 2024, at 66 1/2.

My cat, Fangus, was/is very much under the weather. Not eating, not drinking. Not using litter box, vomiting....vet bills in the thousands.... hoping he turns around. He spent 8 hours a day for 3 days in my vet's hospital getting treatments. Eating is improving, litter box being used, still some vomiting. And now sneezing being exposed to other cats in the hospital. All I want is for him to get better. Hubby and I are also dealing with recurring gastrointestinal issues. Sigh. I count my blessings, though. I just want Fangus better.
