Thanks guys! I have good and bad news... First: yes Moon, these were internet purchases and no, I only know 1 of 3 artist. Second: All items arrived and 2 of 3 pieces are what I thought they were. The Jesus piece is oil on canvas, the Harper piece gouache on paper and the seated child on beach piece is a print of an oil painting....not a true oil. But that's ok, not a big deal, even "experienced buyers" such as myself can be fooled by images over the net. The bad news: the harper arrived today damaged! The seller only packaged the piece in a large envelope and that's it. No bubble-wrap, foam peanuts, box, nothing! Only a envelope. The glass shattered and scraped and scratched the piece. Not too bad, but bad enough to notice. With all that being said, I'm still happy with my $70 purchases and won't file claims for either piece nor leave NEGS. Unfortunately, these are some of the unfortunates one has to deal with when purchasing items for re-sale online. You take the good with the bad and the bad with the good and move on. I've been doing this for too long to sweat the small stuff. This is another little painting purchased from another seller... (anyone know what type of flowers these are?) I've been posting some artwork as of late because I know you all are sick of seeing the Asian vintage and antique items. Thought I'd change it up a bit. @Trip, very nice finds! I really like that vase (the first one).
