The Junk pile included a river of silver with onyx SIGNED sterling necklace in perfect shape, sterling snowflake earrings (probably Skinger), a knotted on cord pearl tin cup necklace, pearl and sterling flower earrings, sterling and crystal earrings and a "broken" ceramic and probably silver necklace I can fix in ten seconds. There's a magnatic clasp costume necklace too - took me 30 seconds to "fix", i.e. thread the chain back through the pendant. </p><p><br /></p><p>On the way home, a charity thrift that's the sister to the one in West Hartford yielded probable gold ball earrings, a solid sterling necklace, and a Patent Pending Trifari necklace that I've IDed as 1950 Alfred Philippe. The three together were $17 with tax. Meanwhile they wanted $20 for a Florenza brooch with missing stones and $40 for a sterling ring.
