I didn&#039;t live there, but commuted to an office right across from Madison Square Garden.</p><p>I worked in the city during the times off from college, mostly in the summers.</p><p><br /></p><p>I loved going to Macy&#039;s on 34th St and having lunch in their restaurant. They had a lot of counters and one dedicated to just those wanting deli sandwiches.</p><p>Pretty good for a non-kosher place. Going to Bonwit Teller for a quick look at the treasures in the ladies sections. </p><p><br /></p><p>Going to manufacturers showrooms on Fashion Ave and watching for new trends.</p><p><br /></p><p>Back at the office, having the manufacturers come in with bagels, muffins, donuts&nbsp; kibbutzing with us for some laughs.</p><p><br /></p><p>It was a good time for me, but way to brief.
