Hello gang! Have been gone on vacation for a week or so. Snuck in a little pickin' while out and today had an extra day off before starting to work again. There are so many great historical towns within 50-miles or less here. I apologize for my long winded post, but I have a lot to make-up for!

Some treasures I found last week include antique Royal Doulton dinner plates (gorgeous!), Minton plates, a neat, rare vintage restaurant platter for a defunct Coffee Company, a Shelley Toothpick and a Reuge Music Box. A few things I left behind, which I probably shouldn't have, but I'll be back in this area again 1-2 times each month for sure and there 2 stores at least I never stopped at.

I haven't been able to figure out the maker on this BEAUTIFUL set. I said.. are you sure, that is a very fair price. 'Yessir!' I couldn't find the pattern in my Pressed Glass book and will start a post soon. I think someone treasured this and kept it near perfect forever. It makes me sad it didn't stay in the family (I have an entire scenerio in my head). I spent some time searching for sisters or good friends and was unable to find a good match for us locally. I have found an amazing match for us and us for them. Two beautiful girls, who became BFF's in foster care and this home specifically asked they be adopted together if possible due to their already bond. Housetrained, well behaved, with both needing some TLC - just like our baby girl did. I'll share pictures after they are in their new home. The kicker, we travel BACK to our old home State to get them.

Have a good night. Off to make dinner!
