More thrift store finds. I keep buying glass, china, and pottery despite saying I am going to quit. It is hard to pass up when it is so darn cheap.

I have been seeking and buying furniture. Mostly beat up non-antique stuff to paint. This chair is the exception. Someone did a good job on reupholstering this and it looks like new. The turtle box is probably Asian. Bought for a buck. The dolphin is signed R. W. and dated 1983. Paid 75 cents for it. The bird was 50 cents and probably Chinese.

This lot of Manhattan depression glass was bought at 50 cents per piece. Not sure why I need 11 berry dishes but at that price I could not pass them up. I know I have at least a couple of the master bowls somewhere so I can make up some sets. This is a pattern I actually like and use occasionally.

The two large Fiestaware plates were $2.00 each. The luncheon plate was 59 cents, as was the bread and butter. The Russel Wright plate was a buck. I can easily sell the Fiestaware. Hard to believe how hard it has fallen off.

These three perfect Hutschenreuth plates were 50 cents each at half price sale. Maybe Czech? Bought for $3.00 total.

The silver fade pitcher was $1.50. I have 6 of the matching glasses bought earlier to put with it. The red dish with metal rim is pretty interesting. I think the metal rim is probably nickel-silver since it was dull but not tarnished before polishing. It is stamped Germany on the rim. No other marks. The glass is a deep red and shows lots of wear on the bottom. I have no immediate use for it but couldn't pass it by at 59 cents.

The dragonfly vase is modern. Bought for a buck.
