Happy Wednesday all! Thanks for your input regarding that particular charitable thrift. I was in the area today and had my day planned -- I had been hoping to stop in for the first time in over a year and see if things had changed, but when I get to the bottom of our hill, one of my two appts. called and it was the doctor HIMSELF asking stating HE had an emergency and asked if I could come in right away. So I made it to the various appoinments and drove another 20-minutes back to my most favorite thrift store in our State (kind-of in the area). If it had worked out as planned, I would have gone another half hour to the other one, but not this time. I've looked online some and folks seem to love and adore them. It is important that my 'pickin' needs not interfere if they are providing a service to people in the community. Their means to that end may not be correct, but it seems like they are helping many people.

I found some neat things today. My last shopping day this month. Next month I'll go to a different far away town in our State, all day, and can't wait. In March there is a BIG flea market. So some fun things are planned and hopefully treasures to be shown. With my record collection sold, we are looking at adding four more inventory shelves. I've got stuff ready to list all over and unpacked a box of inventory yesterday and promptly called my spouse and said 'when I die, don't you dare donate this crap (for you KOT), I have too much good stuff and you better at least sell it!'' It was the set of pretty L E Smith Blue Glass Horse Bookends that did me in. I'll look at them for a couple days before I list.

I didn't buy too much today and they are newer items. I don't know if folks like to see pictures of more modern stuff since this is a vintage forum, so I ended removing the one I was going to post. A nice Mikasa Cake Plate, two Vietri Chargers and nice set of Block dinnerware - a 50 piece set for $30.00.

Have a good week.
