Really nice finds everyone! A great way to start off the year.

Marko, that mean-o thrift lady reminds me of the only thrift I won't ever go back to. It is a smaller one, specifically for the homeless - the store has folks always using vouchers and rarely actual shoppers, it is in a terrible location, so shoppers are important. The first time I went, I found a ton of vintage - I remember folks here helped me ID something. The second time, they told me they were starting to keep the vintage for themselves. On that trip, what was most frustrating, was I found a pair of marked gold and designer earrings with stones. They held these at the counter like normal and when I checked out, the manager decided to 'keep them for himself'. I didn't go back for a year I was so upset. When I did, I found a few vintage things they missed, including a Royal Bonn vase in this form I'll be listing soon for $30.00:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Royal-Bonn-Handpainted-German-Red-Yellow-Rose-Vase-Germany-Floral-/400808350806

It was suggested I don't purchase it due to the cost. Which meant, they missed it on the upper, back corner and wanted it. Yeah, no. I went once more and it is awful now. It is the same thing I don't understand, if you build the store specifically to help the community and these vintage items bring in the sales, sell them, don't keep them. Sigh. Anyways... the doggie has to go the doctor and she hasn't learned to drive yet.
