(brought back lots of food for Unc).&nbsp; I got this at an antique mall for $12, less 10%.&nbsp; It was pretty cruddy, but cleaned up nicely.&nbsp; I thought it was glass (it is a Vargas hallmark, 10k GF), but the Presidium gem tester shows aquamarine.&nbsp; I took it outside and in the sunlight, it shows a prism, so I thought it was glass again.&nbsp; I researched aquamarines, and some show a rainbow prism.&nbsp; There is also a water test you can do to see if it is aquamarine- put a drop of water on the surface and if it beads up, pretty likely it is aquamarine (if it runs off, probably quartz.)&nbsp; I love my jewelry!</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]42530[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]42531[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]42532[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
