I went to the local auction last night. It was mostly junk but even that was going high. I did manage to get a few buys near the end.

I picked up a beat up MCM vanity without mirror for $5.00. Vanities don't sell so I am sure this is why it went cheap. I plan on cutting it in two to make pedestals in to nightstands and paint them. This is the auction pic so not the best. The mirror on top didn't go with it.

I bought two boxes of lighting for $13.00. It appears to be a mix of old and newer. The two fixtures in the bag are brand new Restoration Hardware dual gas/electric reproduction sconces that retail for $350.00 each (crazy I know). They are in a weird brushed brass finish but I guess that is the new up-and-coming look for Kitchens and bath .

Lastly, I picked up this Royal Bayreuth dish for $2.00. It has some paint touch up but is in good shape otherwise. I think it slipped through due to being filthy but it is possible that no one really knew what it was.
