Dow introduced it under that name in 1949, altho the "stuff itself" (Polyvinylidene chloride) (PVDC) was discovered in 1933...

not really my type of thing, and very dated, but from a very good artist chris collingwood

his original military paintings can sell for tens of thousands, hes even had stamps commissioned with his paintings on

this must be an early piece of his work done for a book cover, wont be worth anything close, but still impressive,

thought it was a print, but the lupe doesnt lie, i bought 3 of them for £4 pounds each ( i had no idea about any of this by the way, i hadn't heard of him)

this is the better one, might have a bit more interest because of the german soldiers

Charlie, that is absolutely awesome! I think you need to get a copy of the book- would be fun to read, and to display at auction if you are selling this.

On Amazon the paperback copy with your picture is £24.56 right upto £495.00.:eek:
The hardcover displaying the Nazi Swastika and wings is only £2.08.

So if the book is up for £495 how much is your painting worth ?

I think it's because it's pretty much an unknown book, from a small print run so if there's few copies amazon prices will be irrational

I found this link to other book paintings he's done, the half price sale is a bad sign though !!

So another idea is to copy the listing with a picture of the book, maybe from Amazon, and frame it and display it with the painting.

Stopped at a yard sale this morning and picked these three pieces. The necklace actually has some weight so the gold diamonds are not hollow. It has two knots and the claps won’t open. Stamped Yugoslavia on one side and I think 14k on other but possibly a company also, not sure.

The little owl also has something stamped on the top but for the life of me I can’t figure it out and then there is this owl rings, just got it cause it was sterling. $10 for all three and going to scrap the necklace and owl, sell the ring.
