Sorry, I don't know what happened. This response was supposed to go with the painting of NYC.

 

OMG ! I have the exact same painting hanging on my wall !

 

This was from 2014 and my pictures were hosted on a server I no longer use.

 

Heres a few finds over the last few weeks,Ive gotten terribly lazy about researching stuff mainly because I can NEVER find anything anymore!

Odd little 2 inch high figurine,I cant figure out what its supposed to be! Any ideas ?


Heavy 14 inch long wall plaques,not normally my thing but so well made and $2 each so I thought "why not?"


Lucious red "Bleu D Argile" vase,I cant seem to capture the deep red of it.

 

Looks like someone sitting in the Lotus position.

 

Johnny, I think yours might be the same one that @komokwa copied. You posted your painting back in 2014 and it's near the very beginning, on the first page of this Finds thread. I think that Kelly was trying to reply to your old post and she had accidentally replied to one of Brad's first posts on the thread. I don't know how Komo knew which image to copy here, but somehow -- he did!

 

Thats what I thought,but google image gives me nothing (hiss,spit!) . Then I thought maybe a native american type silhouette ,but again,nada.

 

Ha ! No wonder it looked so exact !

Somebody screws up! I came home with $250 from assorted junk jars, junk lots, and an estate sale. That's my kind of junk!

The little lotus position critter is a Buddha, most likely. I love the red vase.

 

Another recent thrift store find for $5.00. About 16" diameter.
