I can't read that either and the image won't blow up when I click it. The first word looks like it starts with an M and the second with an A, but that's as far as I can get.

Sounds like the seller couldn't read it either and wrote it off as gold-filled. I just listed a pin I bought the same way at an estate sale - 14k with an all but illegible mark. Sold as costume, but I had a hunch.

Tyep...that's as many pixels as the cropped original image will allow, unfortunately.

The original won't do it either. I have a pair of earrings with a similar problem, but fortunately those are costume.

The 3 on the left are definitely 14K. Can somebody flip it?

More likely the illusion setting is white gold with rhodium plating.

My (laugh here) treasure for the day. Total outlay, four bucks. The watch is a working Seiko auto-winder, but it needs a new band desperately. The big orange necklace is just that, big and orange. The bag is Fendi - I hope to move that locally. There's a single small sterling necklace and one from Michael Kors. The latter two were handed to me by another junk junkie at another sale. He'd paid a dollar for them and decided he didn't want to deal with them. Killed my knees on some stairs inside an "estate sale" with nothing left to sell. They all but threw the ribbon remnants at me. The bracelet is nothing much.

My biggest score was cheap milk in a supermarket on the way home.

Hand painted signed Corolian vase just purchased reasonably at online auction. Will collect it tomorrow.

If only I could use the Skinner vase as a price comparison :(

here are a few of my goodies from the last little while
a pair of Schaub Lorenz stereovox-t type 688-1 speaker, they are pretty beat up but maybe someone can bring them back to life, a couple of cigarette dispensers from Japan, Milk bottle from Smith Falls Dairy (Canada), 3 issues of Tamiya news, 2 sets of fun Pagoda lantern patio/camping lights, 3 Beswick Scotch Whiskey bottles that have never been opened - don't know if the alcohol would still be good?, the Baubles, buttons and beads book that dragonflywink mentioned in my thread on a brooch - great book!! (thanks Cheryl and fig for recommending it!) and this large cast iron Chicken - stands 18"H, I had this about 6 months ago and sold it locally and then went to an estate sale on the weekend and it was up for sale. I noticed a mark on it so I'll do some research to see if I can find out where/when it was made
