Went to 3 places, not such a monster lute; but very pleased with the boxed top hat and the plane!

I once got asked if I knew the whereabouts of a lost mezuzah when I hadn't even heard the word before & was completely clueless. Not wanting to betray my ignorance, I asked what a mom would: where did you last have it? When she said she had taken it off & put it on the piano in the college ballet class we both took, I at least knew she meant the large, beautiful gold pendant she always wore & surmised from the word that it had religious significance. Sadly, had to answer I had not seen it since either.

When you sell that Death, make sure you use Grim Reaper and terry Pratchett as keywords.

What was the plane made for originally? It looks like the top of a weather vane. The Chantal pot looks great too. It's giving me ideas....

Don't know what the plane was made for, there is like a missing part to it at the bottom.

Looks like it probably was a weather vane. This one isn't the same, but it's the same idea https://www.pinterest.ie/pin/38069559326648552/

    I don't think so..

There doesn't appear to be much if any weathering on the copper, so you're probably right.

Figured out the D-sse de Parme was done by Rodier but haven’t cracked the other two yet nor the sitter of the male.

I bought some pretty little eye candy at the auction this week & I just had to share them with all of you. :D:D:D

The first is a hand painted T&V Limoges heavy gold encrusted 17 piece tea set.
    [IMG] [IMG]

What are the little dots called on Limoges? Are they also called Moriage?

The next is a lot of assorted cordials & sherry stems. I am going to need help with several for the maker & patterns.:happy:

The last one is not eye candy as much as something I am going to be able to sell for much more than I paid for them, BAPS Little Black Sambo dolls. I also got a Wolf from the 3 Little Pigs & a Rumpelstiltskin.:smuggrin::smuggrin:
