He'd find monster dust bunnies under mine, or monster "cat drifts" - tumbleweeds made of cat fur. I brush Genie twice a day otherwise it would be even worse.

Davey, do you keep the better larger items, such as antique furniture, or do you have someone come in and sell it to them and they remove it? Just curious, I have to have my uncle's house cleaned out this summer. The relatives have done a good job of taking what they want, but we have to get it ready to sell.

All sellable items are removed to my storage lock-ups, domestic appliances and modern furniture are sold on the internet (Gumtree) or by word of mouth.
Antique furniture is sold at fairs or ebay.

The sellable junk is taken away by a friend who helps me clear the properties and he sells it at car boot sales CD`s, DVD`s modern ornaments, crockery etc.

I have a scrap dealer take away old metal defunct appliances that cannot be sold, stoves, washing machines etc.

Small valuable stuff and collectables , jewellry, gold, silver, coins etc come home with me to be sold later at my leisure.
Edit, including Wine Whisky, Rum and cash to be consumed or spent at my leisure :D

Russian buffalo grass vodka is yummy. The plain stuff has to be mixed with something unless it's the real top shelf. Rum is best used in baked goods. If I ever wanted to risk getting legless, I'd soak raisins in rum, and then use the liquid half and half with vanilla ice cream. The raisins get used in baking.

Pretty much the way it works here as well.
We generally use more ladder lifts then dumpsters.
But never the less, have to dump quiet a lot as well...

    Nice score too!
The BWM on my pic is named to a Belgian agent (spy!).
    Only +/- 3000 were issued.
    This one is my second.
....only 2998 to go to complete the collection....

Vodka is best kept in the freezer and drunk neat. I'm partial to Polish bison grass stuff.

Got a Monart vase yesterday. Rather pleased.

Today I found a way to blow $1100 at the dentist - got a crown replaced. I got back for the permanent one in a few hours. Also got some goodies a the IllWill, a few hundred yards down the street from my dentist. That made me feel better.:cat::cat::cat:

    Nice little Kwakiutl totempole, CX!
The style is familiar, but I can't think of the likely carver, offhand.

I may get crowned when the bill comes! They had to cut up the original to get it out of there. My dentist had only himself to blame for the problems he had getting the old one loose; he's the one who glued it in!

    I wouldn't think to know the carver....but like you say...it's familiar !
What age would you suspect....I know it's not new !

60s would be my guess, photos of the back and underside of the base might pin it down better.
