This doesn't seem to be a consideration in all matters. After months of only using her own box that owner brought with her, she now uses his at least half the time, while he never, ever, so much as steps into hers, although does sniff sometimes.

Man, am I glad I don't have to go out when it's sleeting to walk a dog, much as I love them too. The easiest are these: :turtle::turtle: At the moment they are hibernating, stacked one on top of the other inside a McCoy cookie jar styled as a tree stump (lid has mushrooms) that I use as turtle furniture.

I've no more animals and won't have any.
My last was a bunny and she was lost and unclaimed so I kept her.

One of my dogs trained me to stop using metal bowls for her water but I never knew why.

I simply complied. Or, maybe obeyed is more to the point. We love our furry friends.

I like that little green glass cruet/jug/whatsit too. As for the spoon, have you asked the cat? Cats love skittery items that slide across floors. I had a hairpin fall out on a wooden floor a few days ago. Do you think I can find it? It was 3 inches long too, so we're not talking one of those baby ones. I blame Her Imperial Furry Majesty, even if she's not guilty. This time.

My mother's wedding band & the apostrophe/quotation mark key from my previous keyboard are here, somewhere. Until given a new keyboard, stopped using contractions & tried to avoid possessives. If forced, would depress the switch using a vintage hatpin.

Great haul! What is the cabochon set into the lid of the box? Looks hand cut. The imagery of the decoration is a bit jumbled, the way it typically is on Wedgwood pieces that have more than one scene. The peacock is Juno/Hera's bird; the swan is associated with Apollo. The figure with the cornucopia is Fortuna or Abundantia. The woman with a helmet leaning on a plinth is a bit hard to decipher. Looks most like Minerva/Athena but pose not typical & looks like there is something in the right hand? There is a figure, Minerva Medica, who is identified with Salus, Health, a natural companion to Wealth, but usually this is indicated by the presence of a snake. Love it.
