lol, my husband would be glad to see less dolls in the office work space. He is not impressed with the lot and makes fun of them daily. All good fun. He is not an antiquer and in an absolutely unrelated field.

This isn't a very good photo.
Here is a straight forward picture of the KPM. The damage to the fingers on the right hand is really hard to see. DSCN4522.JPG DSCN4524.JPG

Here's my first piece of Pickard China. I bought it at a flea market Wednesday. It measures 9.5" x 9.5", and 2" tall. The piece was decorated by Joseph Yeschek. I really need to get some natural light photos.

(The camera flash makes the gold look bad, and without the flash the painting looks bad. All in all it is a very nice piece with two pinhead fleabites on the rim.)

Hmm. Thought I cropped that. Oh well. This is a hankie or glove box. The lines are all metallic. It's lucite - a friend calls it "mother of toilet seat" but it's a nice solid box. No clue if it's worth anything.

And compared to that porcelain it really isn't worth anything. (sigh)

Trip, it's hard to tell by the picture, but the doll on the bottom left corner in the box, might be a Boudoir doll. Some of the other small dolls look like souvenir or tourist type dolls. Lots of dolls there!! I hope you can figure them all out. :cat:

Those prints do look nice. Is the top one on fabric? You might look at Hans Figura.

So I HOPE this will be the find of the month LOL LOL I went to an estate sale and was looking for Christmas stuff, I walk in and one whole wall is shelves of Christmas stuff.... but not the kind I am looking for, newer stuff mostly. I find one ornament, a very nice vintage/antique santa head ornament. I wait till most everyone is gone, chat a while with the folks running the sale and ask if there is any more ornaments along the lines of the Santa head... "Oh yeah, grams old stuff, we have lots of that stuff, you come back tomorrow 2 hours before the sale starts again and you can have first pick"...:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot: this has got to be too good to be true...We will see!!

This is a bit off topic, but I always assumed an 'estate sale' was American for an auction sale. Here it is always either that (in and around the house for large houses, or selected goods in the local auction room) or a house clearance firm is called in to simply haul away everything to dump or sell as they see fit.
From the way the term is used here, it appears I have the wrong idea about US 'estate sales'.
