Here are some of my goodies from the last couple of weeks
D&E earrings, Italian glass vase that is marked - I bought it because I've seen one before but I can't remember who, will try and decipher the mark, older bird cage, airplane that I think is made with spark plugs, Sterling silver tray, English hallmarks - 660 grams and was on for $10.99 at the Value Village store, and my best find is this fabulous Christmas decoration, he stands 5' 6".
The glass vase is by Fulvio Bianconi

^5 CX! That tray was stealing; Value Village/Savers generally doesn't miss things like that, or they don't if I'm coming through, so that was a find. Are you going to keep it, sell it, use it as a gift, or melt it?

Got this Nixon for a few bucks a few days ago. Definitely a more common pin but I didn't yet have one so I purchased it.

I'll be selling it. Normally they pick up on the sterling but lately there have been some really good finds so maybe it is someone new that is pricing the stuff. I'm hoping it continues:) I will admit I was a little nervous going through the till, fully expecting the manager to show up and stop the sale.

    Woefully OT:
Here's a method for removing coins from a piggybank or coke-can bank without opening the bank:
slide a wide table knife or other strip of thin metal into the coin slot; jiggle the bank until a coin is sitting on the blade, the blade being horizontal; slide the coin out of the slot.
Assumes the slot is wide enough for both a coin and the blade, of course. Works less well for bills.....

i have performed that procedure many times on many banks , but any coins put in it could dent it from the inside , so i don't put any in for that reason also , i like it the way it is lol
