I'd swear I've seen this design as I'm always looking for unusual S&Ps for a friend. I would see but ignore these. :p

If you see ones like these, open the 'cork' at the bottom because the marks are hidden underneath. I bought these just assuming they weren't any particular maker and noticed the Selangor pewter marks when I started washing them.

Well, I don't usually buy to re-sell. And ebay has eBay prices. Many (most) of the asking prices are much higher than that and that's what I quoted.

Czech brass and glass art nouveau buckle. No names, no marks, but ...((glorp)).
I'll get this up on Ebay RSN - as soon as I can pry it out of my hands.... It was supposed to look like Chinese silver and apple jade. The glass still looks good, but the silver plate has been through the dishwasher a few too many times.

Wow! That buckle is special. I did take some pics of that bracelet I'm unsure of and will post pics in the next day or two (they are still on my phone which is plugged in where the sleeping giant and the poochie is).

Yesterday was errand day - far too early - started at 5AM for the spouse and I did get some pickin' in at a few stops. I was very tired yesterday afternoon and didn't take any pics; I didn't find a lot, but what I did find was quality.

At the antique mall where I have a booth, I found this exact vase:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-VAN...227552?hash=item41b471bee0:g:fDcAAOSwl-FXNL4B

I paid less than half of this and the seller did not know who made it. I got lucky in my ID search, first try. I think this selling price was a little low based on the other forms that have sold. Either way, still a nice profit.

Also not my listing - just for reference. I found a Shaubach Kunst tall figure (stunning fall colors) in a form not listed in sold or current. This beauty is in perfect condition and also has part of the original foil label on the base. Same dealer space, under $10.00. Both will go up soon.

At a different stop found two Glastonbury vases, different sizes, perfect shape $3.00. I don't know if this is the pattern, but they are covered in gold - for reference:

A few other neat things made the day... it was a good reminder that some days you find a truck load. Some days it is more about quality versus the haul.

    Happy Fall pickin' everyone.

Today I went to my church's clothes closet to help "set up", such as I'm capable of these days. I.E. not much. Scored some sterling rings and a sweater with the tags on it ... for free. Now that's the right price.

Here are the pics of the bracelet... I don't think it is Bernice Goodspeed, the marks are machine made and her 'B' tends to look more hand etched. I'll look a bit further in some different resources and then if I can't ID it, will put it an a pile o'silver. It is a children's bracelet - quite small.

Some have probably heard of or also live in the current SE wildfire zone, it is unfortunate/scary... this morning the wind is blowing terribly bad which is not good for the little progress made. At first I thought, when I looked outside the sky was covered with dark grey clouds meaning finally rain... but then realized the smoke is thick and bad. I've got to run to the Post Office and take doggy out. Deep breathes... :hungover:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I haven't posted any of my photo finds in quite a while. I found these guys at an antique show last month. Most of the card mount is cut off, along with some writing. The writing that remains says "about 1908" on the back.

One of my Facebook friends says it looks like a British Christmas pantomime dinner.

Looks like my family after the ladies have gone through.............all that's missing are the port decanters.............though these fellas haven't eaten yet judging by the flatware, rolls and celery.olives.

    Love it!
