2:15; I didn't escape until after 4. Doc went to town. It's a teaching hospital, so I guess I get to play classroom example!

Suggestion..... Never take an appointment that isn't first or second of the day.
As the goofy twits arrive (example) for a strange mark on their arm and then proceed to tell the doc; "Oh, I actually broke my arm, punctured an ear drum...or two and maybe I have a splinter in my ass." then almost every clownfart after does the same thing...guess what happens to your 2:15 appointment. :p

Choir, preached to.(LOL) This is a university hospital and I had to take what I could get and get to. On the upside, I got to talk to a Syrian refugee family. My one or two words of Arabic weren't too useful, but it was cool anyway.

Those I Love Lucy shakers are pretty cool KOT.
More great finds Dave! Did I read it correctly? You were paid to dig this stuff out and you get to keep it?

    Yes, we are being paid.
We have yet to get the furniture out and we are only halfway through the small stuff.
Every cupboard, closet, and drawer is stuffed full.
Master bedroom, kitchen and garage are still untouched.
We have about 50 big bags waiting to go to the tip.
    Its a delightful nightmare :D

We have a farmhouse out in the sticks waiting to do next and that is equally stuffed to the rafters.
    7 bedrooms and two barns.:cigar:

I'm sure it is lots of work but it still sounds like fun - good luck on finding more goodies:)

Not the same Davey, but looks like a possibility of the same maker? Maybe Hutschenreuther?

Davey....in your experience ...do the homes you work on belong to folks who've passed away with no family or friends....no will ...and just a barrister closing out the estate with no knowledge or want....of the antiques, metals, cash, jewels, or other valubles on and in the property.???

    Just curious?

Do you bid on the work...or do they come to you ?

It's for clotted cream Davey. They were sometimes used to transport it in as well.

As an aside, I'm boggled that families don't have at least a cursory root through houses.
