Since I haven't shown anything in while, I'll show this rather odd (to me) brooch. It's by a Canadian company called Continental that made some nice stuff... and also made this:

I don't know how to describe it. I want to use the word "louvered".

Also "layered". Or hoovered, if the right ladies see it and vacuum that baby up.

I suspect it is. It can't be re-purposed to hold a biz card.

I took the scooter to the PO. Then on to Walmart. When I got home I lifted the seat to take out my carry bag that I had put in on leaving the PO. I found the biggest tree frog I've ever seen by the seat latch. When I tried to roll back into the sun for a pic he scurried down into the space around the latch. He went on at least a five mile ride.

Just think of the tales he will tell all his other tree frog buddies about his adventure. You may want to check your scooter before you go out again because his buddies may be trying to catch a ride also. ;):p:eek::rolleyes::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:

Okay, a rare find for me, something that isn't jewelry. I was in a thrift shop today and immediately fell in love with this print. I know nothing about prints, artwork, etc., except if I like something. Don't even know the medium here. It is in my dining room now, and hubby also loves it. Anybody recognize the artist? I think it looks like "S. Alexis" and the title looks like "Lessons." Maybe song lyrics? I see the words "Little Love" and "Little Kiss" at the top, and the bottom says "I'd love to be on an island with you." Other stuff I can't read, on the left it looks like "A & T Love."

That could easily be a gicle print. Not old, but I like the colors too.
