Yesterday's finds ... 2 "ooopsies" at the GW - the small Japanese silver dish shown in another thread and a huge silver Argentinian picture frame (which will be shown in another thread later this evening) ... plus a hard to see sterling marked bracelet from a different TS (another 'oops').

    P1090446(1).JPG

and this at yet another TS
    what is it?
    a large hand bell?

    P1090447.JPG

NO! :) it's a cocktail shaker! and I'm guessing with the Pat Pend stamped on it, that it's an earlier version ....

We always knew that schoolmarm had something hidden! My finds today were cat food and a rolling cutter for quilting. I got the cutter and a brand new cutting mat for about 1/4 the price of the same in a fabric store. Not the best bargain ever, but I need a new blade and a new cutter.

Perhaps, if you kept your bar bill down, you wouldn't be taken in by such things. :)

A rolling cutter? That's why the new ones come with safeties.

Well of course! We had a spare bedroom, admittedly a small one. It's now pretty much stuffed with fabric and craft items. It's easier to lay things out in a bigger space.

Here is that plain Davenport that I found on the curb the other day. I finally got it out my car. The finish needs work and the replacement pleather top needs to go. It doesn't look bad underneath. I might just leave it stained and not replace the leather.
