    Newer Scottish pin....
Lucky Grouse Foot Kilt Pin. Worn as a Kilt pin by men or as a Kilt pin or Brooch by ladies. It has been a symbol of luck for generations in Scotland

Yup, Scottish grouse claw. This one's about twenty or thirty years old, but I've had older ones. You do sometimes get Victorian ones with eagle claws, and you get both white metal and silver, real stones and glass.

Nice spot of work, Bear! This weekend for me was a Jane Russell, to borrow an American bridge term. Big bust. The find of the weekend was a Rubbermaid dish drainer.

'Found' these while clearing my parents house... the dominoes measure 1x2cm each and the box is about 7.5cm long. Not complete unfortunately. I've seen lots of miniature domino sets on google, but only a couple that look like this (no ebony, red line in middle of each domino). Any ideas on age?

Also, a cameo ring... looks like two different metals - gold? Not sure.

The dominoes look like someone did them by hand, at least partially. The ring probably is gold; it looks like a bench jeweler made it. The shank is bar stock and factories didn't make them that way. Bench jewelers generally didn't work in gold-filled or plated stuff from what I've seen.

    love those dominoes batman!
I picked up this little pendant today - 15 carat gold John Grinsell & Sons Birmingham 1901. I've never had a piece of mourning jewelry like this one.
