Just got this minutes ago so know nothing of it except it's beautiful! :)
    FullSizeRender (2).jpg
    It's 7" x 3-3/4".
    Paper label reads either; 520 - 1 or 526 - 1.
Hand painted in 'gold' > "PERSIAN POTTERY" 'An exact replica of 17th Century Persian Art.'
    Whatcha know???? :)

It is attractive, but I have to wonder about the combination of the replica information, the oldish label and the Made In Japan stamp. That's going to be tough to decide on age.

I get that and worried too but I didn't pay for it to really sell it...though maybe...
    I loved it. :)

Love the matchbox,Greg. One of my uncles had one like that covered in a green leather for a local bank. I coveted it for some reason. Picked these up today, the lamp was a steal at $20 and is in mint condition ! It wasn't even dirty when I found it. The vase might be my new favorite thing, this week. :)

Ps...no ,the lamp didn't stay there, just testing it out,for those decoratively inclined.

Well I finally have something to post as "finds" -- two pieces of sheet music. They are for me so they didn't have to be pristine (but they are both "complete").

sheet music antique 002 (2).jpg sheet music antique 004 (2).jpg

"When the Twilight Comes to Kiss the 'Rose Goodnight'" has a copyright date of 1912. "Cheer Up Mother" has a copyright date of 1918.

I bought the woman-at-the-window sheet music because it describes the author of the words of that song as "Writer of 'There's a Dixie Girl Who's Longing for a Yankee Doodle Boy.'" DH got a kick out of that as I hoped he would.
