    WOW! That is VERY nice of you!!! I have much fun buying stuff...better than the movies! I get much more pleasure and may find a gem. ;)
    I LOVE to find stuff that I know friends appreciate and collect. Of course they know it's not new so that worry is lifted. :)

    Very nice, Sharona!

    I have some jools to share as well...

    $100 lot:

    As I told you all many times before...I suck at evaluating blue and white wares. The jar is very interesting (to me any way). I've never seen one like it before decorated with these large characters and florets. My guess would be Chinese or possibly Korean. As far as age, not sure.

    The "costume jewelry" lot below was a real steal. Most still have their original asking price tags and are bagged. The larger bag at right are the precious metals (gold & silver) I've been able to separate so far. The 3 pieces below are a few of my favorites. The seal is sterling with rubies and sapphires if I'm not mistaken. The sterling stickpin at middle has a tag that read: "Jensa George $98" which I believe they meant to write: Georg Jensen. It is signed verso, but it's sooo pitted, it's hard to tell exacting what it says. Not sure what type of stone is on the pin at right.

    'Nuff-Said, just curious but in the fourth photo (lime-green background) what is the tube-like item (brassy/pea green-looking but that may be due to the background color) with a larger open end and a smaller closed end and it's situated just above the white card with "aurora borealis earrings" written on it?

    That looks interesting to me. ;)

    LOL! No I'm not...

    This is the 3rd or 4th "costume jewelry" lot we purchased in the past couple of weeks. It's EZ/fast money to be honest....especially when folks are just giving this stuff away for pennies on the dollar. I'm so exhausted from preparing and cleaning up after last night's fight party I didn't even finish going through all this stuff. After this post I'm headed up to the bed for a good long nap! The hubby or kids better not bother me or they're going to catch hell! :)

    That card case is very nice....I really like that. The blue and white covered prunus vase looks promising.....probably 19th/early-20th C.

    @Your, it appears to be some old hand-made/home-made piece...

    'Nuff, I'd still be digging if I'd hit a load like that! It happens every so often, but around here unfortunately either everyone pitched Grandma's stuff, or they piece it out at retail prices. (sigh) I can only look and drool.

    I have seen you hit some goodies Bev, your turn is surely coming! That silver necklace you recently bought should do well, my plain one brought 100 in nothing flat, paid 1.00
    I was discouraged till yesterday....

    That's great, Bear! Sharonna, love the jewels, but really like the lamp. Something different. I sometimes pick up clothing and take it to a consignment shop. I do give it to family members and friends if it is their size first. I just got a great Ed Hardy sweatshirt for $5 this weekend, going to my sister. I bought a very 80s Lee Sands pink sweater jacket with pearls and rhinestones and tons of fluff long bolero style for $4 at the end of the day. That's mine.

    Lol! Yeah, that won't happen. ;)

    @Your, you're most welcome.

    @Eve, I haven't even started messing around with the actually costume jewelry as of yet (only the gold & silver). Below is tons of just costume (mostly any way). There's a non-running/working Cartier and Rolex watch within as well. Not sure if they're authentic, have to take them to a specialist.

    @Marko, thank you!

    The gilt lacquered lotus piece I'm not sure if it's a stem-cup of vase. Believe it's 19th/early-20th C. European Aesthetic Movement(?). Marked on base with only the #21 in red.

    Some wonderful items folks!
    I picked up a few goodies - Richard Hudnut Compact, watch fob and the little brooch which I have found out is referred to as a 'nanny brooch' -goldstone, the end comes off to hold needle and thread; some horseshoes and a horse finial(?).
