    Nice bit of dipped Wedgwood.

I think your Fenton is Arcopal. French.

thank you ! I said Fenton because so many examples identified it as such. Then again a few thought Ruba Rombic ! I never knew there was dipped Wedgwood ! I wondered about the lines on it,now I know. Always learning on here. :)

A friend locally taught me that the dipped Wedgwood is the proper stuff and older. The solid color is more recent. I know the Arcopal name as the makers of molded glass plates and bowls. And glasses of course. The molded pieces are marked.

Just a couple of items from today's clearance.
A Seawind divers watch, about £300 in used condition.
I'll get it serviced and put in my collection.

A Euro coin collection, in German but includes coinage from the Eurozone.
Its spends for me rather than sell or keep, into the holiday fund it goes :D around €44.87 ($47.41) (£37.41)

This is a short video of the current clearance.

My assistant filmed part of the ground floor and I had to dub it with YouTube's allowed music to mask my swearing whilst I discovered buckets of human faeces and urine and rotting food.
You will see vegetation and mould has entered the kitchen.

That is why I’m charging so much, it's disgusting, and he died in there and was not found for some time.

Looking at family photos, he appears to have come from a wealthy family in Düsseldorf.
Why he moved to the UK is not known, but he had a kid and a partner in 2015, but not at that property.

I'm employing two big, fit young men to help move some of the stuff with my waste man, I heard one of them comment yesterday, "I hate this guy and I never met him":D

My mother bless her soul would be turning in her grave if she knew I was clearing a German's house out.
She hated them with a passion, they tried to kill her and the family 3 times in WWII
I was not her favorite when I purchased a Mercedes in the 90's:rolleyes:

I have a friend, who's family would never purchase a German car.....

I really hope you clean up .....with no unexpected events !;)

His gun now resides in my gun safe, awaiting surrender.
The books I've kept prove Nazism was not bred out of him, some books are still sealed from purchase.

I spoke to his neighbours, who are mainly Roma, who should not be here.

They said he was a crazy old man and the police were always here.

Crazy old man at 50, me and you have 18 years on him and still operating.

That explains some things. Looking at your video past all the crud, at some point this person had decent money for good things. I hope you find more of the good stuff and less of the poo buckets. :hilarious:

I was once told that if something crawled out of the fridge under its own steam, to let it go. It seems to me that whole house was trying to crawl off. Poo buckets, that stove ... I'd haul out the liquor for safety reasons, look for anything decent, and take a flame thrower to the rest. Let the local firemen use it for training.

It’s all really sad. On first glance it does look like it would be really hard work for little reward but I’m happy you have found some good items that will give you a good profit.

That video was horrifying Davey !!! I could smell that place thru the screen. I feel so badly for people like that . It truly is sad how he could die alone,at 50. Id kill to be 50 again ! no pun intended. May he rest in peace, poor fellow.

I have to wonder, in this persons prior life he was obviously successful, if he became suddenly either manic depressive or severely ill & had caretakers coming in. I have seen many hoarders homes with similar horrific findings but when you see the furniture it looks as if it was previously cared for, little details like the coverings where furniture typically wears & frays. Do you know what the man passed from? Davey, I hope you do more than well with this clean out, have you considered pitching a TV series based on your business?
