Thank you! I was thinking of listing it to pass it on because I have way too many bowls and pottery... But it's been sitting on my desk and looking very pretty and I enjoying looking at it... :bucktooth:

Hahaaa I'm about short enough that the chairs would be perfect. Not a fan of chicken nuggets though. :playful:

At 5’8”, I barely fit in the chair but they always serve the kids first & we usually also get ice cream & the desert. Plus most kids give me their salad I give them my bread. I don’t eat nuggets either.

I think people in the poorer areas are more careful, possibly. But also, in richer areas, it’s the top end phones and expensive watches too.

No one would bother nicking mine. I bought it in 2014.

Christmas Fair yesterday, got there an hour late but found the silk scarf for 50p and the books were £1 each. The Chaucer is dated 1884.
    Poetry is signed edition.

The best things I found yesterday were a free homemade cookie and cheap gasoline, despite going out before 8AM. You've got me beat.

I had a better day last week, whole tray of jumble stuff for £5. The hip flask is desirable old Sheffield plate. The horn spoons I believe are used for eating caviar, (won’t get used in my home). Silver bangles & bracelet and unmarked little box. 8 Plated shell place markers, Miracle earrings and some nice vintage glass baubles and the dog in the bonnet was £1. I think the yellow plastic things came off a bracelet.

Thanks, that’s going to my neighbour. I don’t ever have any Christmas decorations put up, only cards. It’s just too cluttered here and tinsel etc would make it look worse.:(

Dead pleased with this. Yes, it's plastic. And yes, I knew what it is.

I've made some good money on those 'plastic' pieces, still have one in my 'Sell' stash, and one a friend gave me new 30+ years ago...

I’ve one of the cats which himself bought me new about thirty years back, too. That’s how I knew what this one was. The dealer didn’t!

A zebra for me, my friend and I, from the time we met on horseback at 13 'til he passed at 41, had been giving each other equine related gifts for years - the ram in my stash was a dollar at Goodwill...

Yup! And he’s tiny, about three inches long. They’re lovely little works of art.

That's what I thought straight off. I have a giraffe, also totally missed by a family estate sale. THey kept all of the jewelry because 'someone might steal it' but sold the Palatnik for $5.

Ah, I have heard of Palatnik acrylic figures, but never seen any in my neck of the woods. However, if I come across a "plastic" figure like those, I hope some little bell rings in my brain! I have had a re-find of a kind today. Mooching around in my basement, I came across these 4 5-inch Albisola pottery plates with putti. The base says IMA Albisola and 3 of the 4 have Galleano AM on them. I gather that there are several potteries in Albisola (by the sea:happy:), but I dunno if IMA or Galleano is the particular factory. Anyway, now that I've found them, I'll hang them in the room that we call the "pottery room." :D
