Very nice! I've got a pair of his smaller geese, and have always admired his skill.

My haul from last weekend. Such as it is. There were four pieces of Indonesian batik. I'm going to hem the orange and purple pieces and give them away. The other two may end up as skirts for me. I love the green one. I found quilt fabric at another sale - nothing to see in its raw state, but probably the buy of the week.

From another estate sale: Danbury Mint costume pearl bracelet. Two window dangles, one with a dog on it..my niece is getting those. The winner in the pile was a yard sale belt buckle - sterling and turquoise. Not signed, but there's a faint Sterling mark. The bird necklace is Popesco. There's a dragonfly made of silver and amber too. Cost about a dollar. The little birdie is carved rock.

The vase isn't worth as much as I hoped...but it's signed Baccarat.

Won a few lots at a local auction, with this being my favourite item. It is a banded flute carnival glass compote made by Imperial Glass circa 1910. Very very few of them are known today, apparently. Fortunately, no one else recognized its rarity, so I got it for only $7. :)

The butterflies look like costume from here, but they're pretty. I can see why she bagged them.

I have a crystal vase that looks very much like the Baccarat one. It is the most handy vase really for bouquets (the odd time I get them!). My MIL gave it to me (probably in the 80s) and told me it was Wedgwood. Who copied whom?;)

They probably both copied something even older.

All I found today was a guy in a bucket truck; my neighbor's tree took a dislike to the power line and dropped a branch on it.

Teddy Ruxpin! He's special! Teddy and his friend Grubby, a bunch of tapes and several costume changes live in my basement. I'm waiting for my daughter to decide to move him on.
