My bag, I tells you, mine.

    it needs proper rehoming.

Those glass dolphins are indeed Chinese, and quite nicely made. Blue ruffle
    Probably made on Murano.

    That WMF was a steal.

A couple recent folk art finds:

First, an over-12" wide Peruvian retablo. I thought it was a-maize-ing:

A nearly 3' tall wood cactus sculpture, signed on bottom:

    And best of all....

    Wait for it.....

This is a small version of what are apparently sewn-leather 'masks' from the Mexican state of Guerrero. Nobody in my family likes it. They're crazy.

Leather, some crazy thick thread, paint, mirrors for the eyes, and boar's hair, apparently!

Had a good house call this past week...

    OH, @Ownedbybear

    Purses1.jpg
A green beaded purse and 2 black suede purses. The metal decoration on the large one is sterling silver.

    DecoMeshPurses.jpg
Whiting & Davis on the left, unmarked on the right.

    SSNapkinRings.jpg
    2 sterling napkin rings.

    SSNcklcPin.jpg
Sterling necklace, haven't checked the stones yet by I assume glass. A David Anderson pin. Both in dire need of polishing, will get to it before a show I have on August 24th.

    AN_SP_BoxOutside.jpg
And an Art Nouveau silver plate box. Quite large, about 8-1/2" (22cm) x 4-3/4" (24cm) x 2-3/4" (6.75cm) deep. I assume a jewelry casket. Also in need of polishing but I need to be careful not to get any gunk on the fabric!

Ooh. I’m as green as that peppermint beaded one, which is probably my favourite.

It's a sweetie! It's missing 1 little rhinestone on the clasp, but it's an easy fix for me :)

Charity shop £10, could just about see it had a full hallmark but didn’t expect it to be 1907 Charles Wilkes. I think I was fooled by the modern chain and it’s so clean, no tarnish at all.

Don't you love it when a new/fake chain fakes the sellers out! Or a costume pendant?

My find of the week was blind luck. I went to a charity shop in a local senior center. Sometimes I find a place to use a clean bathroom. This time a lady just brought in a pile of donations. She'd had this guy in her bathroom. I saw blue/green ceramic and knew it was Something, but don't know Italian marks that well. The Rosenthal-Netter paper label set off some bells, and when the lady said $2 I started fishing out money.

This one is exactly the same including the signature on the bottom. It's on eBay and my guess is the price is inflated, but for $2 it was hard to miss.
