I found this a while ago, but never posted it.

Cambridge Pottery pitcher, thrift store $2.00.
    Just under 6" high.
My husband thought it was ugly, but I had a hunch it was somethin' good.
There are a few online selling for $$$.

Nice one! Sometimes it's the random unmarkeds that sell for good money. Just don't tell the thrifts that....

I found a tag sale this morning. I think it was two friends, one of whom had a pile of merch from flea markets. I spent $30. Included in that were a hard plastic salt/pepper set that I bought because it was made in Brooklyn. Also not pictured, a little Neker (Israeli) perfume bottle made of paper-thin glass and a Kiddush cup made of silver. The cup isn't anything fabulous to look at, but the silver weight comes in at two avoirdupois ounces.

In the photograph - two perfume bottles with atomizers. $5 each. They have zero marks, but I'd bet on Czech glass. The ruler is older than dirt. It's made of sample woods, one of which is American elm. They've been all but extinct for yoinks. The finish needs help, but as my one buck throw-in oh heck yes. The last photo is of some of what I've been up to: two Czech orangy-red bead necklaces combined into one, coral copper bone and stone, and beads that may include some custard glass. I have to hit that one with a blacklight. The "turquoise" was separate, but the others were all one mishmash HELP-ME necklace.

The bottles are pre-1945 due to the glass siphon tubes & maybe 10+ years earlier with those puff bulbs with the fringe.

Are they marked on the collar? I'm not sure there is a specific company that used that atomizer head.

I couldn't find a mark anywhere. The glass is absolutely perfect; and I didn't see anything on the collars at all.

I found these lithographs for $19 for the pair- the artist was listed as L Frank, it's Franck L. One was water damaged, donated it so someone could use the frame.

Hankie $1 each, the red hearts had original tag.

Of course, there is jewelry I haven't photographed. Sadly, one of my best thrifts for finds is closing down. Everything in the store was $5 and below, including furniture.

Seat cushions for these peacock chairs are impossible to find. The seat measures 18" across, but stuffed pillows are too small. I found a seller on ebay from that makes cushions out of old saris and other fabrics; I ordered a 22" cushion. I had poly fill I got for free after someone's yard sale, so I stuffed the cushion. I think it came out great! Cushion from India was $21, free shipping. Still working on button lot, testing for bakelite today.

Nice finds! In my dotage, it seems that things are triggering memories from my distant past. I recall having a rabbit fur muff when I was a child. Very early 60s, I think.

It looked seriously messed-up-ish before I restrung it. The beads were on a piece of tigertail with a knot tied in it. Some may be bakelite or celluloid.

It's on the agenda, provided the blacklight decides to play nice.

I used to love finding embroidered bed linens ! I loved the ones with crochet trim especially. They got so expensive at thrifts and sales I havent looked in years.
