    It's 100 degrees here, and I was going to totally skip walking out of the door today, but there was a yard sale I remembered reading about....it was a moving sale, and some jewelry was left two hours after the official start (9, but am sure people were there at 6.)
    I spent $50 (of hubby's money.)
    Black cloisonne knotted beads, GF clasp, love the box

    The sterling inlaid Zuni bracelet fits perfectly, just needs a clasp set, so easy to fix

    I picked this up because of the laboradite. After researching, this beading stuff is pricey. Faux 14k chain, but sparkly.

    These may be red jasper...they register on the Presidium, as do the faceted black stones, probably onyx. Earrings have sterling findings.

    I went jewelry hunting today at a neighborhood sale that was a literal gold mine last year. Found zero jewelry except a few modern costume bits. Left them. I did score my BiL a Trevi Fountain Lego set though!

    I have some cloisonne beads like that around somewhere, or did. You found more jewelry than I did this weekened by a mile.

    I am seriously behind in photographing, I just started to put it away. I spent four hours tagging and fixing things to sell.
    The cloisonne is more modern, done with white knotted thread, going to be sold. I haven't been out, missed a lot of yards sales, too hot for the flea markets and to wait in line at estate sales. My heat malady is afib- heat causing BP to rise, then I'm done. My favorite yard sale find was a $150 NWT faux snakeskin laptop carrier from White Market Black Market. Will take a photo soon. $10! I needed one.

    Heat and humidity are my enemies too; that's one reason I was home at 11AM. The sun started to come out and I skedaddled before I got into trouble. That and...dang it was dry out there, stuff-wise. This was supposed to be a big sale weekend and...nope.

    I had three yard sales on my street, one a mile away where I got the jewelry. But here's the laptop carrier, my favorite thing.

    Just a few of the items in the last two weeks.
    Today 47 piece International sterling Prelude $40 mixed in with a set of stainless flatware. Yesterday old German copy violin $30 and Supro steel guitar $50. Sonia Robinson original $70. Arne Jensen painting $8. German erphila $2. Bicentennial parking meter from Chicago $5. Noritake powder jar $10. 2 miniature Nootka or Makkah baskets $60.
    It's been a buying frenzy.     I had to run errands, so I stopped at a few thrifts. I prefer going out on Tuesdays (Mondays are a bit picked over after the weekend,) but I can't complain.
    Mother of pearl shell jewelry, made in the Philippines, set $5.

    Sterling, I made it a set, earrings $5, pendant $10. I love leopard jasper.

    Last week's tag sales where of the Why Bother variety. Made up for it today. A little charity thrift sold me bangles at two for a dollar. Six for sure are bakelite, two are lucite and featherlite, and two are test-me. Those and the beads cost $10 along with a picture frame of no great greatness and some coffee filters. The tea bowl and cup were $3 elsewhere and the Empoli-style snifter was $4.
