Got a lot of jools and a couple of silver items. Nothing special but quite a few pieces that will nicely fill in my table at local sales. The silver spoon is a souvenir from Biltmore and the little silver pill box is French. :)

I like the one on the bottom left. White moonglow glass painted with moths, very unusual.

A follow up. One of the people I tipped off was at yesterday’s car boot, selling. She’s a really lovely woman, and also an NHS nurse. Anyhow, she saw me and was so grateful: she’d picked up more silver rings and a big haul of costume.

We had our usual natter and I asked how much a rather nice modernist pendant was. She gave it to me as a thank you. Isn’t that nice?

someone else gave me a Whitefriars weight, so I had a good day!

You got Whitefriars (cant' get that here for love or money) but I blind-lucked into Caithness. Not worth much, but it cost about the same as a cup o'joe at my supermarket.

I finally got the pix from this weekend uploaded. The purple Caithness weight isn't in the pictures, but the Glass Eye Studios egg is! Paid next to nothing. The weight of the silver is worth twice what I paid for everything.

Two necklaces are a mix of freshwaters and stone. The white one dare not speak its name. Still researching the brass and tigerseye pin. The little painting is signed Tara Bell - headed to one of my cousins. The spoon pin is engraved Gertrude; that's the best part. The birdie is carved calcite.

Of the costume stuff, the pretty set is marked Vogue. The necklace alas is missing its clasp, but I wanted the beads. The sparkly white pin is prong-set rhinestone and weighs a ton, but like most isn't marked. No idea whodunnit, but it's good.

There's a tiny Tiffany peace sign pendant, and a bracelet made of George V and George VI threepenny pieces. Two pair of sterling cuff links, one artisan. A little sterling cross with a glass front and some other sterling bits. I threw some busted junk chain and a broken hoop earring into the scrap bin already.

My favorite thing though was the geekiest of them all, and it's even sterling. It's a tie clip in the shape of a slide rule...and it slides. My late dad was an engineer who never learned to use a calculator. He said the slide rule worked better for what he did.

You sure the TIFFANY peace symbol is genuine? That's a pretty wonky logo and it also appears to be signed "Elsa Peretti."

Some Caithness is valuable. The spaceflight and astronomy weights. I’ve got a cameo cut Planets plate which is hens teeth.

I'm sure it's silver. For the rest, I can hope but I'm only into it for under a dollar. If it's fake I won't cry too hard.

Alas, this ain't that. It's just a bit of purple glass.

Thanks all . I did think Lalique when I spotted it but the Italy tag threw me off.

picked up this nice little noritake cup and saucer for a pound at the weekends boot.
unusual as i normally don't like noritake at all, find it garish, but this seemed quite tasteful, guessing around 1920s/30s

Pretty little thing. My dad's mother loved Noritake, the gaudier the better.
