No, please, you don't hope that,....because then you'll have accusation being hurled towards you of being a stoker, threats, direct/indirect/subliminal posts, off-board chatter/name calling on other sites, being a booster, only posting the cream of the crop, a fake, phony and fraud, 85% of board members won't reply to your inquires ......and whatever else I may have left out. ;)

??? I guess my ignorance is bliss. Here is a find I have had awhile that is waiting for me to identify.. bought thinking Suzi Singer or another Austrian Werkstatte maker. incised inside that one way looks like a number other way gibberish letters. About 5" cerweinmaddona1a.jpg

@Mill Cover. My apologies. I sometimes reply with the first thoughts that pop into my head. I should have said: you will. There's plenty out there to be had. You just have to use all and any of the resources available to you.....be it the internet or in the field. Much of what I come across/find/post isn't all that great IMO, just items that were overlooked, unreached and/or misidentified.

@Trip. I believe Sharona is referring to a negative off-board discussion that was happened upon regarding yours truly by former and current members. Members who I previously (from what I can recall) only had warm and positive discussions with on this board and the old, but who on that site, weren't speaking too highly of me for whatever reason/s. In other words: backstabbing! Hence my original thoughts to Mill Cove above... The better the finds, the bigger the hate.

    @Komo. I use to say the same "I don't understand"...but now I do.

Flea Market /Auction Treasures from today include the following........BTW I will post seperate threads on the PGP board to help with ID's.

    First.... 17 pieces of cranberry stemware.....several of 4 different pieces /sizes 018 (600x383).jpg

    Next comes a 10 " vaseline Pitcher (Martini> ) with a ground polished Pontil. panelled Optic. 011 (367x600).jpg 013 (600x470).jpg

Lastly, this unusual Victorian Hat. The Auctioneer cald it peach Blow, but I'm not so sure. It is approx3" tall and 3 7/8" across the rim. It has a white outer layer and a pinkish red inner layer and you can see a diamond pattern through the white. smooth to the touch though. I'm really curious about this piece.

Not much to show this week.

This Chase chrome cup and pre-prohibition whiskey shot glass were thrift store finds. I can't find the Chase piece anywhere. I assume it is a drinking cup but suppose it could be something else.

Sterling and onyx ring is marked Mexico Sterling without any maker's mark. The sterling marked filigree pin has a pyramidal cut stone that is diamond-like. Both were thrift store finds. $4.75 and $2.00 respectively.

Bought these 6 Federal glasses from another dealer's booth for $8.00. I am sure I can sell for more on ebay.

I am not now, nor ever have been a "ring leader" of any sort, and further, I do not wish to open up any cans of worms from previous times. As far as I'm concerned, it's in the past and should stay there. I only made the comment in response to Komokwa's query and in no way was I trying to dredge anything up from the past. But, I couldn't disregard the ring leader comment as it's wholly inaccurate.

Don't start missy, when theres a controversy your never far away. Did you start the fb roasts? no one chimed your bell you injected yourself

Let me quote some what I feel are just a few of the known fb roast, Im sure theres a new real pretty one....and could care less
Here are a few of what I consider nasty posts
Well, what we write here, Nuff may read and it may be posted or commented on
(in other words had they not been outed it was gonna get real ugly)
and whoever ratted them out is a rat amongst us lol wow
Quote:I SO wanted to post a correction, and "out" her as an idiot. But my better nature prevailed. heehee
    Wendy's reply
Don't you find that as you get older, it's a lot harder to keep your worser nature hidden?
    the reply:
I do indeed find it so
Your not on the end of nasty hidden ugly comments, anything we had to say we said it here...does not feel good
Theres several others who are roasted and that post still stands and theres likely another hole where they dog people them come here and smile in yur face

I have been here and ebay as for many years as many of you and never realized ...you wont run me off because there are those I do like...

I am just saying words hurt, I'm not trying not to "STIR THE POT"< fb
but been round these woods for many years, seen many things, was usually faily laid< back. Just as always the find's thread my favorite
Never spoke my mind much, but guess I'm getting older, but busy a lot and not here a lot, and I truly prefer we all get along. But those words hurt, my little tea pot is frequently on low simmer
I feel like it is because I spoke up for my friend, that is the kind of person I want to be, not mean...
Done that's my story and I'm stickin to it
