Thank you. She is not a type of doll I generally collect but I couldn't leave her at the bottom of a plastic tub. She's got the Cissy doll face.

I don't know a lot about Native American pottery either but those are really nice. The Acoma is not a typical one you see with that detailed line work. Great score!

Yeah-- great finds! All three are nice, esp the Acoma one. $3? That's crazy!

Somebody else who helped run the place caught the mistake, but too late. I already had them and unlike another store (who were reamed out for it) once it's priced and on the shelf they don't change the price. What the heck I'm going to do with them is anyone's guess, but for pennies on the dollar, darned tootin' I was buying them.

    The Acoma Charlie pot's a beaut !
PS-Some orig 90's concert t-shirts (reggae,rap,hip-hop,etc) go for shocking amounts.
Our early 80's Huey Lewis & Geraldine Ferraro shirts-diddley squat.

I found this for a really good price recently. Not old, but authentic Makah basketry:

And this Chinese tea caddy with six glass panels and images on fabric was $14. I should be able to do better than that!

    Here's a 13 1/4" Limoges Tankard I just found.It's not my thing but for $2.99 I couldn't leave it behind.
It's an antique JPL Pouyat # 559 Tankard signed by J.A. Keller (amateur ?)
. Touch of wear to finish, but looks amazingly chip/crack free.
Wish it was Brad's Weller or Evely's Acoma-but u get what u get.
If it doesn't sell-somebody gets it for Christmas !

Pretty piece! But with a pouring spout I would not call it a tankard. ;) Could you show us the decorator's signature?

I would call it a pitcher, yes. And that signature looks very "hobbyist" to me. ;)

Bakers-Ditto on the sig. These JPL Pouyat # 559 Pitchers dollar-wise jump all over the place.I guess most of the value depends on the artist's skills, factory made as opposed to hobbyist, and of course condition.

    1959 Harmony/Silvertone Les Paul Guitar copy-at GW !!!!??? (What the #@*%).
Found this for $40 at the local GW,in excellent shape. It'll go to the Tech before I plug it in-if it's lost it's ground, you may be jamming w/ Jimi in Rock Heaven.
    The Pickups are stamped '8-13-59'
PS-Never play an old axe til it's checked out !

There is no hazardous power in a guitar unless you have a super duper messed up amp

I bought what was called a type drawer but was really just a cheap shadow box but I bought it for what was inside anyway.

A broken china brooch with sterling frame.

    And 2 millefiori picture frames.

I also had a brass reindeer with a parasol that I've started another thread about.
