My finds from two estate sales last week. Spent the same amount on jewelry the next day, but I already scrapped a lot of it. It was all single no-account earrings useful because they were sterling and 14k etc and other bits.

One piece from the estate sale is a reticulated Herend box that alas has two breaks on it. Found those AFTER I bough it darnitt. The painter dude is going to my niece - carved in Italy. I found a bamboo stick here and cut off a piece to make a replacement brush. Added paint and it was a dead fit. The suede pouch has to slots and perfect beading. Telephone timer. The duck is Fenton, signed. The gold coins are USA dollar coins. (two bucks off of my total!) The fossil is a fossil and the smoky quartz is quartz. Sterling bracelet, necklace, shot glass, mini plate, bagel knife (handle) and .800-ish spoon. The Netsuke dude is wood, age unknown but he wasn't even a dollar.

The find of the day visually has to be that happy spam sandwich!

I went to the Spam Museum in MN last time I was there. It was so amusing!

They had the spam skit running on a screen at a mock up lunch counter. You just had to push a button to watch it.

went to an estate sale this afternoon, some of the goodies I brought home. Perthshire PP22 scent bottle with millefiori bottom, 2 cigarette cases, 1 sterling, the other is Japanese Damascene (I think), sterling brandy sign for bottle, the spoons I thought were sterling but turns out the 2 tower mark with P stands for plated. The only sterling on the serving knife and fork is the band at the top of the handle
    - is there is a name for that part? A cool perfume bottle from Hawaii, I think Koa Wood, still have to research it. No perfume in it but still smells, rather a sickly sweet smell - @bercrystal, maybe you have seen these type before? A fun brooch by Coro Craft, missing one of the pins with rhinestone, but a fun looking piece. Last is a little hobnail vase with pink inside, my first thought was Fenton but will have to check it out:)

The Japanese one is easy to test. If it's real damascent, just get a fridge magnet and sit it on the box. If it sticks like a limpet, the black is cast iron and it's damascene. If not, it's still Japanese, but probably some sort of enamel.

Japanese damascene(Zogan inlay) is also applied to silver and shakudo"96% copper and 6% gold" which is not magnetic.
