I like the propeller better, oddly enough. I can see the metallurgist's metaphoric fingerprints on it.

The white beaded bag was probably made in Hong Kong. Lovely.

I splashed out WAY more than I wanted to for these, but they were "had to haves"! So black when I got them,it took 3 times polishing to get them pretty again. I love silver with enamel interiors like this. The cups are 2 inches high, the tray is 7 wide. I LOVE them !

Today was ..meh. Found some bits but nothing worth any real money. Did score two Fiesta bowls for $1, both headed to a friend's house. Saturday though...got some stuff.

The glass bowl is thinly made and signed on the pontil. Found the crack (!) when I got home. Oh well; it came from a food bank thrift. So did a pile of the jewelry. Spent $46 in there; it was their Spring opening and I always spend a pile that day. It should all be covered by one pin - sterling Tiffany studios. One bracelet and some pearls were losers. But the Trifari pin. the Miriam Haskell white dagger bead necklace and the Neiger(?) Egyptian revival sure weren't. The paperweights came from my other usual charity thrift. One is from Corning, NY. THe blue one almost has to be Murano, and the strawberry..not sure.

I think the brass and glass buddha pin is Nepali. THe copper and art glass has a crack and I almost don't care. The doxie is tortoiseshell, the sea creature face is sterling missing a pearl. Old though. Overpaid for the druzy earrings; they're just sterling. The love knots are 14k though. Had to Google Lens the I Love You pendant to figure out what it actually says and where it came from.

Now to take some of it with me on Friday and hopefully do better than break even.

That green and red Murano vase is Chinese. A well known one. I’d have grabbed the coventrys. Ringed decanter is seventies Romanian.

Ruth, your beads are Neiger. The strawberry is Beranek, and show me the other weights!
