    I love those British medals!
One of the scarce country's filling in a name on the medal.
That way this items have a great story to tell.
The few British medals I got are mainly related to Belgian.

The first one is from reserved seats, from Old Yankee Stadium.

    I think I remember @cxgirl is a Yankees fan.

No pictures yet, but this followed me home today. The estate that had that massive, and lucrative, sale last week had a tag sale today to get rid of the leftovers. I thought I was buying this vase last weekend but it was left behind somehow. How the heck it was still there, undamaged, today is anyone's guess. No pix of my own yet, but this is it:

This one followed me home from the first tag sale of the day:

Finally a local Fete. Everything was £3 an item but she discounted a few small things. AJ identified the 22ct Toraja house pendant with 14ct chain.
The gold brooch is 18ct but no idea about the stones they are coming up as a 7+ on the tester. Tiny gold earrings, WI brooch, silver trowel book marker. The Sterling panel bracelet is Palestinian.
So good to get out buying outside on a sunny day.

Looks like some bargains were had! That chain will pay for everything with change left over for next time.

Yes the chain isn’t very nice same goes for the tiny earrings so off to be scrapped. The 18ct brooch could easily have the side stone group taken off, the antennae made into loop to make a pendant and scrap the rest of the brooch, I don’t think so many wear this type of brooches now.

The paperweights are all over the map, but I think the vase runs around $100 retail.

So these little beauties were found at a thrift store. They were being sold with some other smaller shells and what I thought were rocks. I collect shells and bought everything just because of how substantial they are and beautiful. I believe the large bear is jade of some sort and the "rock" is actually 3.5 pounds worth of malachite. I am only thinking that because of research I have done. I feel pretty lucky.

The "wavy" layer in the bear doesn't look like jade.
