@anundverkaufen - those are minaudieres, by the look of them. Have a look for weeny hallmarks, the left one at least looks silver. I'd call them good stuff.

@anundverkaufen - I agree with @Ownedbybear that you need to look closely at your "compacts" for teeny tiny hallmarks.

Nice haul & I would take all of that "cheap stuff from the barn" in a heartbeat!!

That cheap stuff from the barn might turn out to be $$$! Thirding the recommendation to look for bitty marks on the minaudieres; the French especially are known for bitty marks. The Brits put them front and center as often as not.

Looks like you made up for the wait.

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely have a closer look before putting them in the shop.

Here’s a few more things, there really is a load of stuff.
A Ben Seibel duck bank, a folding U.S. Navy checkers set, a carved signed duck I haven’t researched yet, a ping pong paddle with a fraternal carving, a very deco looking printers block and two small ancient looking pots.

Hazing paddle. Perhaps... Member's initials in T cross bar? Class of 1888? Lambda chapter (which would be Williams College?)

I haven’t googled yet but hazing paddle makes more sense, although I haven’t seen one in this form, I don’t think ping pong was played yet in 1888.

Yes, old yard sale price tags on them for 25 cents. Lots of this stuff had the same tags, probably a barn sale they did in the 1970s from what the son tells me.

I think those are the "paddelee's" initials HSH Jr. or some other combination.

By the looks of what you have found so far the barn is giving the local Savers shop a run for the money as far as the best honey pot around. ;):D:D:D

You know... I think you're right. Given shape, a table tennis paddle more likely. (It was played in the late Victorian era.) And the wear on the handle is right for that type of use. The research librarian at Williams might be able to identify user and confirm via an old year book.
